Threads by David Lane

A production by Arteria Theatre, supported and co-produced by Time Zone Theatre, directed by Pamela Schermann

11 – 29 April 2017 at the Hope Theatre

“All over the world, there are these invisible threads stretching between lovers and husbands and wives and couples, that if you could see them, you’d get caught up in them. You’d suffocate.”

Vic’s moved on. Charlie is a medical mystery. And their world doesn’t make sense anymore. Two people held together by their past, torn apart by their present and unsure of there even is a future.

Charlie and Vic were happy for a long time, then one day it all changed. After five years apart, their explosive encounter makes them question everything they know and ask why they can’t break free of the threads that bind them together.

David Lane’s thrilling two-hander offers many unexpected turns and twists. It explores love, loss and what happens when life goes on, but you can’t.
