Murder, Margaret & Me by Phillip Meeks

Philip Meeks’s play Murder, Margaret & Me closes this Saturday up at the York Theatre Royal, and stars Susie Blake as Margaret Rutherford.

She was called ’the funniest woman alive’.  But the life of actress Margaret Rutherford was far from a comedy.

She was hiding a dark family secret.  On screen as Miss Marple in the 1960s she solved crimes and brought wrong doers to justice.

It takes Queen of Crime  Agatha Christie to unearth Margaret’s tragic tale in Murder, Margaret and Me.

Writer Philip Meeks reveals the sensational story of Margaret Rutherford’s past in this comedy thriller.

“Moving, mirthful, and entertaining from start to finish, this is a gem of a play” The Scotsman
